FULL TIME ANIMAL KEEPER
Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park is situated in
Scotland midway between Glasgow and Edinburgh just four miles from Stirling.
We are seeking to employ a full time animal keeper to work
within our Large Mammals department with Rhino, Elephant, Giraffe and Zebra.
The successful applicant will be qualified in a zoological
science field to HND level or above or have an industry recognised
qualification or apprenticeship plus at least one year’s experience of working
in a similar environment is required.
The successful candidate will be working with a small
dedicated team of keepers who have a passion for animal welfare and promoting
public awareness of species within a captive habitat. The role will involve many different and
challenging tasks ranging from routine daily husbandry, animal training and visitor
experiences.
Salary £18,870 p.a. A
full clean driving license is required.
