Five Sisters Zoo currently have an exciting opportunity for a keeper to join us.

This position will give the right candidate the opportunity to work with a range of our amazing animals. The candidate must be able to deliver an excellent level of animal husbandry and welfare for all animals in their care.

The successful candidate will:

• Possess a Diploma in The Management of Zoo and Aquarium Animals (DMZAA) or an equivalent and have a minimum of three years' experience in the care and management of reptiles, birds and mammals.
• Have experience implementing environmental enrichment.
• Have fantastic observation skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Must be able to communicate on a one to one basis as well as being comfortable delivering public talks to large crowds.
• Have a valid UK driving licence or good access to public transport.

Hours of work are 40 hours per week, any 5 days over 7, including weekends and bank holidays as required.
