Animal Management Support Technician (Technician 2)

Not only can we offer the chance to support successful, intelligent and ambitious students across a range of courses in our expanding Land Based vocational area but we can do so in the beautiful Cotswold setting of Cirencester. The department itself is a vibrant, supportive and forward-thinking team; the teaching staff and technicians work together closely and have a genuine passion for the area. We are seeking adaptable and creative individuals to join our high achieving team and contribute to curriculum initiatives.

This is a full time post combining elements of both technician and student support work as part of the teaching team in our expanding Land Based vocational area. The role includes:-

• Instructing animal students to develop the range of practical skills associated with their courses
• Technical support to the teaching team and supervision of students carrying out practical work
• Care of our animal collection
• Supporting students in both practical and class-based assignment work

This is an innovative post, with scope for the successful candidate to show initiative in developing and taking on responsibility in the role. We are looking for a candidate with real enthusiasm, interest and wide experience in the land based area who is keen to pass this on to young adult learners.
