Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens - Deputy Head Keeper

Applications are invited for the position of Deputy Head Keeper on the East Section of the Park

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in the daily running of the section, and will work closely with the Section Head and staff towards the continued development of the section.

A minimum of 5 years experience with exotic birds and mammals in a zoological environment is essential as is a working knowledge of captive breeding programmes, nutrition and collection planning. Applicants will need to demonstrate good communication skills, be self motivated and able to lead and work as part of a team. Previous supervisory experience, possession of a relevant animal management qualification and a full driving licence are required.
