Zoo Section Head - Drusillas Park
Drusillas Park has a reputation as the best small zoo in the UK and we are currently seeking to recruit an experienced zoo professional as one of four Section Leaders reporting to our Head Keeper.
Ideally candidates will have at least five years experience working within a well respected zoo and preferably hold the City and Guilds Certificate in Animal Management (or equivalent qualification). The Drusillas animal collection consists of a wide range of small exotics, including many primate species, and some domestic stock.
This is a 'hands on' role and will appeal to someone wanting more responsibility and involvement. In addition to animal knowledge and experience we are seeking someone with good communication and people skills as well as strong organisational abilities.
