STAFF VACANCY
Experienced Animal Keeper
Salary £16,122 per annum
There is a full time vacancy for an experienced reptile keeper at Bristol Zoo Gardens. This is an experienced keeper position reporting to the Curator of Reptiles and Amphibians.
The successful applicant will have a good working knowledge of reptiles and will have at least three years experience of working with zoo animals. Having some practical knowledge of the husbandry of amphibians will be an advantage.
The successful applicant will be educated to at least GCSE level, including English and a biological science and hold the City & Guilds Certificate in Zoo Animal Management (or equivalent). Having a general knowledge of the conservation and educational roles of zoos is also desirable.
