Paignton Zoo Environmental Park is looking to recruit a Senior Aviculturist who will be responsible for the husbandry requirements of cirl bunting chicks and fledglings as part of a reintroduction project in Cornwall.
The Senior Aviculturist will over see all stock moves and be responsible for the release of Cirl Buntings as required.
Applicants should have experience of hand rearing passerines and brooder management, as well as good understanding of ornithology and aviculture.
We are also looking to recruit an Assistant Aviculturist to work alongside the senior aviculturist.
The contract will run from May until September 2011.
Accommodation and a car will be supplied.
