The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) is a leading wetland conservation organisation saving wetlands for wildlife and people across the world. We have a network of 9 visitor centres dedicated to engaging people with wetlands and their wildlife including over 2,000 hectares of wetland habitats.
We are now looking for a highly motivated and focussed individual to ensure the effective operation of our Caerlaverock centre. The role involves a wide range of responsibilities including the overall day to day management of the centre, financial outcomes, developing visitation and commercial opportunities as well as the promotion of the centre and our vital conservation work to external bodies (including the Scottish Parliament) and being involved in conservation projects.
Experience of leading a similar business operation with a strong operational focus is essential as is relevant conservation awareness. Demonstration of first rate people management skills, clear communication, direction and a can-do attitude are a necessary part of the role.
