Great Crane Project - Support Aviculturalists

37.5 Hours per week
Fixed-term contracts for 15 and 19 weeks
£13,149 - £13,841 pro rata


The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) is a leading wetland conservation organisation saving wetlands for wildlife and people across the world. We have a network of visitor centres dedicated to engaging people with wetlands and their wildlife including over 2,000 hectares of wetland habitats.

We are looking for 2 individuals to assist with the day-to-day operational aspects of the Great Crane Project (GCP) rearing facility. This will include the maintenance and cleaning of the facilities and equipment, avian habitat management, and helping the aviculturalists with the care of the captive cranes.

The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent with experience of working with animals and the use of horticultural machinery in line with current health and safety.
