Paignton Zoo - Internships

2 x Internships (unpaid) offered at Paignton Zoo

The following internships are available in Paignton Zoo in Devon. These are available part-time for 2-6 months dependent on placement. Exact dates are flexible but would be expected to be between April and September 2011. Training will be provided for each role and a written reference given at the end of the placement.

Ape Campaign internship – The successful intern would be heavily involved in this year’s EAZA campaign, helping to devise and co-ordinate ape activities for visitors to Paignton Zoo. You would have an interest in Great Apes and experience working with people.

Visitor experience internship – You would help visitors get the most out of their trip to Paignton Zoo by providing them with information about our animals. You will also interact with visitors of all ages in a variety of ways (games, touch tables etc.) to make their day more enjoyable and would help support the Ape Campaign activities.
