Senior Education and Sustainability Officer - £16,000
Blackpool Zoo has a vacancy for a Senior Education and Sustainability Officer, who will assist the Education Manager with the development, delivery and evaluation of keystage 1-4, FE and HE sessions, as well as Blackpool Zoo Keeper Academy. The post will also involve assisting the delivery of the public talks programme and conservation initiatives as well as managing and assisting the education team when required. The responsibilities as the Sustainability Officer will include continuing to implement a sustainable development plan for the collection, which involves liasing with ‘green’ representatives from all zoo departments and writing a monthly newsletter for zoo visitors.
