Port Lympne Wild Animal Park on the Kent Coast is home to Livingstone Lodge, an award winning and exciting African Safari Experience and Livingstone Cottage, our brand new, unique and ultra-luxurious short break safari experience.This fantastic variety of short break packages offers our guests an amazing break - a chance to sample a taste of Africa in Kent! Giraffe, black rhino, elephant, cheetah, zebra and many more wild animals provide the backdrop to our unique accommodation options. Guests are able to listen to the sounds of the Serengeti and enjoy a magical night under the stars, just a short distance from the stunning coastline of Kent.

Guests stay overnight in luxury tents, at Livingstone Lodge or in our beautiful Livingstone Cottage.  They enjoy a bespoke drive-through Safari where they will have an opportunity to see all kinds of wonderful wild animals roaming free in over 100 acres of sweeping countryside with fantastic panoramic views across the Romney Marsh out to the English Channel.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Ranger



You will need a good general knowledge of African wildlife, to act as a guide providing our guests with a truly unforgettable experience. The post is seasonal, fixed term from now until the middle to end of October 2012.

 Relevant experience of running a Safari Lodge is essential as is a valid driving licence and a valid work visa for working in the UK. The ideal candidate will be FGASA qualified.



Working hours are split shifts over five days a week and include weekends and Bank Holidays.

Pay: Around £7.25 per hour depending upon experience.
