Blue Planet Aquarium seeks a Dive
Officer
This is an exciting opportunity
for a dedicated Dive professional to join our Zoological Team as Dive Officer
at Blue Planet Aquarium.
Res ponsible for the Dive operation at Blue Planet Aquarium - delivering
budgeted dive revenue through pro-active selling and delivery of our famous
Aquatheatre dive shows plus all other diving related activity at the attraction.
You will need to be organised
and proactive with a real passion for Diving.
Previous experience of working in a Dive site environment is es sential
and ideally you will also have proven diver training experience in a customer
focused dive operation.
Ideal candidates should also
be able to demonstrate awareness of current health and safety Dive legislation
along with the ability to use their initiative, self motivation and be an
excellent communicator. The on-going training and organisation of the Dive team is a key aspect
of this role.
Other responsibilities include
completing and regularly reviewing Dive risk assessments and assisting the
Curator to ensure a well maintained main Caribbean Reef Tank exhibit.
The post holder will be required to work full time
including regular weekends and bank holidays.
