Full Time Explainer
Marwell Wildlife is a registered charity dedicated
to the conservation of biodiversity and other natural resources. Our 140 acre
zoological park in the heart of Hampshire is home to over 180 exotic and
charismatic species in beautiful landscaped surroundings.
We are currently looking to recruit an Explainer who
will be focused on delivering a wide range of animal encounter experiences,
public engagement activities and visitor learning opportunities.
You will be required to source information for public
engagement activities and contribute to the ongoing development and evaluation
of these.
Applicants must be confident, enthusiastic and
engaging with a degree in biological or environmental sciences and experience
of working with and presenting to a variety of audiences (children and adults)
in large or small groups.
Excellent verbal and written communication, customer
service and presentation skills are essential, as well as a commitment to
education biodiversity, conservation and environmental protection.
