For established collection
The successful candidate
will take responsibility for the care, welfare and maintenance of all avian
livestock within the zoo. This will include hand rearing and aviary maintenance.
The candidate should be able to organise and motivate staff team members and
liaise with the head keeper and curator. A reservoir of self motivation and
strength of character will be required.
Ideal applicant should have at least a minimum of 3 years
experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a career position working with
a wide range of over 100 avian species, within a small team environment. A
competitive salary is offered dependent on age, experience and circumstances. No
accommodation. Driving licence and car are also essential.
