This is a voluntary position providing an excellent opportunity to develop personally. You will gain experience of how an education department runs within a zoo, providing environmental education through the development and delivery of workshops, other activities and resources while building understanding and skills in the growing sustainability industry learning how to measure success in this field.
We are looking for motivated and reliable individuals. Successful candidates will ideally be confident, organised and self-starters. It would also be an advantage to have knowledge of sustainability with effective communication skills. However, support and training will be provided so that you can grow in these key areas and gain real work experience in this field. Most importantly applicants must have a passion for this subject area.
The post involves a regular commitment of time which will be discussed at interview enabling interns to work around personal commitments.
