- £17,167 per annum (dependent upon qualifications)
Bristol
Zoo Gardens is recruiting for the position of Animal Keeper on our Bird
Section. This is a temporary position
(up to one year) working 80 hours per fortnight as part of the departmental 14
day rota which will include weekends and bank holidays.
The
successful applicant will be an experience bird keeper and must have at least
two years’ experience of working with a variety of avian species. Applicants should be educated to at least
GCSE level to include English and a biological science. Holding the Diploma in the Management of Zoo
and Aquarium Animals – DMZAA (previously known as ANCMZA) would also be an
advantage.
