Seasonal Primate Keeper

Borth Zoo  is a small privately run collection with a variety of primates, other mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians. 

Borth Zoo currently strives to conserve endangered species through in-situ and ex-situ projects. The zoo currently has plans for a large expansion and so we are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic individual to help on our primate team.

We are seeking a motivated individual with a passion for primate care.  You must be a good team worker who is willing to work closely with other members of our animal keeping team.  Zoo keeping experience and a relevant animal-related qualification would be an advantage although are not compulsory.  

The role is seasonal (June through to September). It is full time (35-40 hours per week) including weekend duties and bank holidays on a rota system. Salary is paid weekly and we provide a basic uniform.
