Aquarist
Marine Aquatic Ltd., operator for
the Malta National Aquarium complex is looking for additional team members!
An exciting opportunity has
arisen for a full-time and experienced Aquarist
to join our dynamic team. The aquarist will be responsible for maintaining the
tanks in the aquarium and quarantine, as well as preparing and delivering
tailored feed programs to our all our species, from shrimps to sharks. You will
also be responsible for maintaining the life support systems that look after
our species. You will help promote & comply with all relevant Health &
Safety Procedures & Protocols, to ensure the highest standards for
yourself, visitors and guests.
We are looking for an enthusiastic
team player with excellent problem solving skills, and who is able to work with
minimal supervision. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years working
experience in a similar role, be willing to work flexible hours which may
include weekends and public holidays, and also be able to clearly communicate
in English. Having diving experience is not a must but this will be considered
as an asset.
