The candidate will lead 125 staff and are responsible for over 3000 animals. The animals include reptiles (such as komodo dragon), small and large mammals (over 40 elephants), marine mammals, primate, hoofstock, large hoofstock (such as giraffe), birds and freshwater fish. 

Scope of work would include: 

1. Maximize Animal Husbandry, and Presentations. 

- Maximize Animal Safety and Welfare 

- Maximize collection 

- Maximize animal and exhibit presentation 

- Maximize ex-situ to in-situ conservation effort 

2. Maximizie Animal Breedings and population management 

- maintain a good animal population management 

- maximize animal collection of some species 

- minimize animal mortality 

3. Maximize Staff Skill and Competence 

- Maximize Staff knowledge, skill and competency 

- Maximize work productivity and efficiency 

- Maximize team work - Maximize staff safety 

4. Maximize Customer Experience 

- Maximize Park's Guest services fulfillment 

- Maximizing product and creation of memorable services 

- Maximize Visitor safety 

- Maximize Guest Experiences from all Animal Encounter/Exhibits, Shows and Presentations

Bali Safari & Marine Park, as part of Taman Safari Indonesia, and a member of WAZA (The World Associations of Zoo and Aquariums), SEAZA (The South East Asians Zoo Associations), CBSG (Conservations Breeding Specialist Group) as well as PKBSI (Indonesia Zoological Parks Associations) is at the frontline of wildlife conservation in Indonesia and is actively involved in ensuring the future survival and wellbeing of many Indonesian animal species through engaging education and conservation programs such as the conservation and release of Bali Mynah, Sumatran Elephant, and Sumatran Tiger. 80% of the park’s visitor is tourist, mainly from Australia, Japan, Korea, and Europe. It’s rated 4,5 out of 5 in trip advisor.
