At the LORO PARQUE
clinic, work in a modern zoological enterprise, responsible for the veterinary
care of the world´s largest parrot collection in the world.
We are looking for:
Head Veterinarian to
manage the LORO PARQUE clinic
Requirements:
Bachelor of
Veterinary Medicine with five years experience as a bird, exotic animals,
marine mammals and/or zoos veterinarian.
This includes laboratory and surgical diagnostic skills. A high degree
of personal responsibility, commitment and ability to work under pressure and
with high volume, as well as capability/skills to manage the clinic and its
staff.
Preventive health
knowledge of a variety of animals is also required. Fluent in English and/or
Spanish.
Working in a modern
and future-oriented zoological enterprise, responsible for the veterinary care
of the world´s largest parrot collection as well as the growing zoological
animal population in general; an interesting and varied work, a young and
dynamic team, a new clinic with modern equipment and a salary according to the
job category. In addition, collaboration with a conservation foundation and
advisory work in the allocation of project funds.
