Veterinary Nurse - Maternity Cover

An exciting opportunity is coming up at Durrell for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to undertake a 6/7 month contract to cover a period of maternity leave. The successful candidates will provide nursing, logistical and technical support to benefit the health and welfare of the animal collection. Assisting the veterinary surgeons in clinical, surgical and pathological procedures and in the input and maintenance of the collection’s veterinary records. Basic knowledge of the laboratory working systems is essential, 3 years’ experience minimum. Must be a fully registered / listed Veterinary Nurse. Zoo / wildlife experience preferred but not essential.’
