Drayton Manor Zoo is
a fascinating place to explore with 15 acres of open plan zoo home to over 100
animals from all over the world including endangered species.
A unique opportunity
has arisen to join us as Zoo Manager! You will be responsible for maintaining
high standards of animal welfare and safety within our Zoo, as well as
developing innovative ideas on how to showcase our Zoo and create growth
strategies.
This role requires a
passionate individual who can bring creativity and vision to the development of
the zoo, who champions conversation, seeks opportunities to promote Zoo
supported charities, increases visitor interaction opportunities, and can
enhance our Education, Conservation and Research projects.
You will be
responsible for the day to day management of the Zoo and therefore will need to
demonstrate excellent knowledge of BIAZA and EAZA regulations and guidelines
for best practice and ensure compliancy within the Zoo.
