Knowsley Safari is one of the largest safari parks in the UK. The park has five mile safari drive with a
lion pride, white rhino and a variety of antelope species to name a few.
We are looking for
an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our dedicated team of animal
keepers. As Cover Keeper you will move around the animal division, working on
all three sections with a variety of animals, providing cover as necessary.
The successful
candidate will have an animal based qualification and will ideally have
experience working within a zoological collection. You must have a strong team
mentality, have the ability to use your initiative, and strive to develop and
deliver high standards of animal husbandry and welfare across all sections of
the Park. This is a physically demanding role and so candidates must be
physically fit.
Due to our location
as well as the nature of the job role, a full valid driving licence is
essential. This permanent, full time position will include working bank
holidays and weekends.
