Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: competitive
We are seeking an experienced Animal Keeper. Applicants must be
familiar with working with a broad range of animals, including primates,
carnivores, reptiles and birds. The appointed candidate will be responsible for
daily animal husbandry and care, within and across all sections of the zoo.
Candidates must have passed the Diploma in the Management of Zoo
and Aquarium Animals and previous experience of animal records is desirable.
The successful applicant will be lively, energetic, and hard working to fit in
with this compassionate and dedicated team. Good communication skills and
excellent customer service skills are essential in this family-friendly zoo.
