Marwell Wildlife and
Kids Love Nature have teamed up to create a nature nursery for pre-school
children with access to our zoo, woodlands and surrounding countryside within
the South Downs National Park. A special role has been created in Marwell’s
Education team to deliver and evaluate outcomes of Mini-zoologist Explorer
Sessions, coordinate contributions from a range of colleagues and liaise with
academic partners studying these methods of connecting children with nature.
Our ideal candidate
will be a keen naturalist with a background in biological or environmental
science, an interest in environmental education and have a nurturing character
and aptitude for engaging young children. The ability to collate and summarise
data, and excellent writing skills are essential for the role.
