We are currently
recruiting for two Learning & Discovery Assistants to join our education
team for the 2017 season.
The department is
responsible for delivering a creative guest engagement program that is a
positive, fun, memorable experience and importantly connects our guests with
the natural world.
The successful
candidates will have a range of responsibilities to support the delivery of
this program including both formal and informal teaching. This ranges from
delivering public talks, hosting and busking at exhibits, conducting classroom
sessions, assisting with kids’ clubs and delivering tours and encounters.
We’re looking for
energetic, highly motivated and excellent communicators who have an interest in
wildlife and conservation issues with the enthusiasm to share this with others.
You will be expected
to work flexibly on an annualised hours contract (based on either a 25 or 32
hours per week) in line with the seasonality of the business. This will include
weekends and bank holidays.
