loved attractions? We have an amazing opportunity for you to join our Team here
at SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium as a Full Time Penguin Keeper.
About the Role
As a Penguin Keeper
you will assist with the care, wellbeing and general husbandry within the
Curatorial team. Key duties will include assisting to ensure a high level of
animal health and welfare, feeding, cleaning, record keeping and monitoring of
life support systems. This position also has diving responsibilities when
required.
About You
The ideal candidate
for this role will have a passion for guest experience, conservation and a
focus on fun. This role will be covering the Sunday to Thursday rotation, so
the ability to work weekends is essential.
A Degree in Zoology
or similar
Ability to maintain
daily contact with a living collection of plants and animals in a varied
building climate
Experience in Life
Support Systems
An 'Open Water' Dive
qualification
Ability to work as
part of a team
Experience in Animal
Husbandry
Ability to work
public holidays
Ability to lift 20kg
