Animal Keeper - Carnivores
Woburn Safari Park

We are currently
recruiting for a seasonal Animal Keeper to join the Carnivores department,
working with wolves, bears, lions and tigers, to start as soon as possible
through to November 2017.
Working as part of a
close team you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of animal
care and welfare and ensuring safety standards are adhered to, including the
associated risk assessments and protocols, whilst ensuring the best possible
visitor experience is delivered.
You should have
previous experience of working with Carnivores, or a similar environment, and a
Zoo Animal Management qualification or equivalent is desirable. As driving is a fundamental requirement of
the role a full current driving license is essential.
The successful
applicant should demonstrate a passion for animal welfare & conservation,
be highly motivated, flexible and committed to Woburn Safari Park’s high
standards of husbandry and welfare.
Applicants will need
to be flexible as regular weekend working is required to meet the needs of the
business.
