Applications are
invited for a Residency in Zoological Medicine.
For the residency we
seek a veterinary surgeon, ideally with at least 2 years post-graduate
exotic/zoo animal experience, which may include a suitable internship. The
resident will study towards a taught Masters in Veterinary Science and the
European Diploma in Zoological Medicine (Zoo Health Management speciality). The
resident will be involved in clinical work and clinical research and will be
expected to submit for publication manuscripts based on their research work
during the programme.
The MSc in
Veterinary Science will develop your clinical research skills and enhance
universally important skills such as scientific writing, critical reading and
statistical analysis of data. The programme is open to veterinary graduates
holding a degree registrable with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
