Hours: Variable.
Normal working hours are expected to be either 10am-4.30pm or 12pm-4pm
approximately, 2 days per week and the successful candidate will be expected to
increase to 5 days per week during school holidays with the potential extra
hours according to needs of the business and availability.

We are currently
recruiting for a Presenter who has a talent for informing and inspiring our
guests to work alongside our Learning & Discovery department for the 2017
season.
The department is
responsible for delivering a creative guest engagement program: that is
creating for our guests a positive, fun, memorable experience and importantly
connecting them with the natural world. The presenter will have a range of
responsibilities to support the delivery of this program including: hosting and
busking at exhibits and delivering tours and encounters. We are looking for
people who can come in, every day, full of enthusiasm, to talk to people of all
ages, and bring with them a bubbly, theatrical personality.
The successful
candidate will need to be engaging, confident talking to large groups, have
experience performing projecting their voice, be approachable, keen to learn
animal information and have an interest in the animal world and the
conservation projects Knowsley Safari is involved in. Previous theatre and
drama experience is desirable to be able to bring presentations to life.
This post is subject
to a DBS check.
As the successful
candidate will need to drive our minibus, we can only accept application from
those aged 21 and over.
