that visit us every year. Our Safari team are looking for confident and
enthusiastic individuals to join the team for the 2017 season.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We have some
fantastic opportunities to join Longleat Safari Park within both the carnivore
and hoofstock teams - providing for the daily care of the animals and ensuring
excellent levels of guest experience. We have an incredible variety of species
you would be working with, including the white rhinos for the hoofstock team
and for the carnivores – our breeding group of cheetah. As well as direct
involvement in animal husbandry tasks, these roles play a critical part in our
daily operation, patrolling a number of our animal areas during the day
including our exciting prides of lions.
ABOUT YOU
You will need a
positive attitude, excellent communication skills, good attention to detail and
be able to thrive in both team and individual environments. You’ll be able to
work under pressure, and enjoy the buzz of working in a busy environment.
HOURS OF WORK
This position is
available on a fixed term contract on until 2nd January 2018, on a zero hours
basis. Our rota is over 7 days, including weekend and bank holiday working due
to the nature of our business.
ESSENTIAL
REQUIREMENTS
A Full UK Clean
Driving License. Experience of working with animals is preferable.
