Paignton Zoo is
seeking an experienced zoo professional for a curatorial role to manage the
Mammal department.
The successful
candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience working in a zoo environment
at a senior level. You will have
substantial knowledge of mammal husbandry and a proven track record of team
leadership. Significant knowledge of
health and safety including risk assessments, safe systems of work, employee
training and safety culture is essential.
Experience in conservation advocacy and research is also extremely
desirable. Previous or current
experience of relevant TAGs or working groups would be an advantage.
