We are seeking an enthusiastic,
confident, experienced, energetic individual to join our team. The successful
candidate has to have a great
understanding of ecology, zoology and conservation, together with the ability
to speak confidently and appropriately to varied learners from early year’s
children to university students, youth clubs and adult groups. Excellent communication skills, customer service and a
full clean driving licence are required.
Duties will include managing and
delivering education sessions and talks to schools, private groups and members
of the public; creating and maintaining zoo signage; answering the telephone
and handling customer enquiries and bookings; providing high levels of
administrative support associated with education and other zoo operations.
Working hours are 40 hours per week
and will include weekends and bank holidays
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
