West Midland Safari
Park is looking for seasonal animal keepers to join the carnivore team. The
position involves husbandry tasks, such as feeding, cleaning, health
monitoring, and enclosure maintenance delivered to a high standard for a wide
range of carnivores managed in drive through exhibits. It includes monitoring
the safety of our guests and operating the carnivore section watchtowers.
The role of seasonal
animal keeper requires someone who is confident, motivated and enthusiastic
about wildlife conservation and has excellent communication skills. The
successful applicant will require good wildlife knowledge and have an animal
related qualification. Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as
full training will be given.
Due to driving
company vehicles, we are looking for applicants who have a full, valid driver's
license. Weekend work, evening work during our special events and flexibility
in working hours is essential to this role.
Hours: Up to 37.5
over 5 days per week, including weekends and bank holidays.
Wage: £7.50 aged
25+, £7.05 aged 21-24, £5.60 aged 18-20, £4.05 aged 16-17
