Conservation Special Projects Supervisor

SUMMARY:  Under the general supervision of the Director of Conservation, coordinates intern staff, daily animal care, and conservation program support.  Duties include coordinating the activities of the Conservation section, facilitate animal care operations, review, develop and/or revise standard operating procedures or other reports, and facilitate field research and scientific study activities.  The position will support ongoing agreements for local conservation programs and research (currently California red-legged frogs, mountain yellow-legged frogs and Western pond turtles) as well as ongoing associated conservation research collaborations. The position's continuation is contingent on the extension of these or similar funding agreements.
