Animal Curator
We’re looking for an
inspirational, visionary and highly knowledgeable Curator to join our team here
at Dartmoor Zoological Park (DZP).
Set in 33 acres of
beautiful woodland with some stunning views of the surrounding countryside and
a fantastic collection of animals, Dartmoor Zoo is a unique family day out in
the beautiful South Hams of Devon. Our collection includes tigers, lions, lynx,
cheetah, bear, wolves, tapir, capybara, zebra, antelope, raccoon, meerkats,
monkeys, a fantastic collection of bugs, reptiles and birds and much more.
In this exciting
role you will lead our passionate animal team to develop the collection,
provide high standards of animal care and incorporate the latest advances in
husbandry. Working alongside teams in education and research, you will be
involved in opening up the eyes of our visitors and students to conservation
and the complexities of the natural world.
