Colchester Zoo
Colchester zoo has
an amazing opportunity for the right candidate to join its team of dedicated
elephant keepers.
We are recruiting
for a trainee position working with 1.3 African elephants under the direct
supervision of our senior elephant keepers.
The ideal applicant
will have worked for a minimum of one year in a recognised zoological
institution and preferably have experience of working with pachyderms. It is
expected that you will have been awarded the DMZAA or equivalent.
This is a full time
position working 40 hours per week and applicants are expected to work to a
flexible rota as necessary to include weekends and Public holidays.
The candidate will
have a clean full UK drivers licence.
