Salary: Band 30 –
36: £18,141 – £21,755 pro rata
(Salary dependent on
qualifications and experience)
This is a full time
post consisting primarily of instructor duties, with elements of technician and
student support work as part of the teaching team in our expanding Land Based
vocational area. The role includes:-
• To prepare &
lead effective group and individual instruction and skills assessment
• To provide day to
day supervision of the animal centre to support the achievement of academic
goals.
• To provide
practical, technical support for academic staff and students on all land based
courses and enrichment in line with College and Faculty policy and objectives.
• Work effectively
as part of the Land Based Team
This is an
innovative post, with scope for the successful candidate to show initiative in
developing and taking on responsibility in the role. There is lots of scope for
you to shape things. We are looking for a candidate with real enthusiasm,
interest and wide experience in the land based area who is keen to pass this on
to young adult learners.
