Carnivore Apprenticeship
Noah's Ark Zoo Farm
has an opening for an apprentice on our carnivore and South America section.
The apprenticeship involves working with Noah’s Ark's tigers, lions, spectacled
bears as well as South American paddock animals and our new Viva South America
mixed exhibit facility. With this position we aim to provide the means for
gaining comprehensive practical skills and knowledge of the care and management
of the species on section. The apprenticeship lasts for 12 months, pay is £132
per week. Each apprentice may have the opportunity to work towards an NVQ to
provide written qualifications which support the practical work.
A normal working
week will be 5 days, 8am to 5pm with most weekends and bank holidays included.
