Cheetah Keeper Volunteers

Cheetah Keeper Volunteers

The Cheetah Conservation Fund is looking for a committed volunteer to join our on the ground team in Somaliland for a minimum of 30 days to help with our animal care and conservation work.

Duties will include but not be limited to animal husbandry (diet preparation, cleaning, and enrichment), facility maintenance, education/outreach, and assisting with veterinary care. There is the possibility that you may be asked to assist with transporting animals and participate in neonatal care for cheetahs seized from the illegal pet trade.

At present, there are over 25 cheetahs located at CCF's Somaliland facility, ranging from neonates to adults.

Volunteers will be charged a fee to offset some of the cost of accommodation and food.

We are looking for dedicated personnel and will consider applicants of all skill and experience levels.

CCF is acutely aware of the dangers of COVID-19 and are taking steps to protect the health and safety of our staff and volunteers in Somaliland. We are in need of some assistance and you will be exposed to a variety of experiences working with the cheetahs currently under our care.

All interested applicants should submit a CV/Resume to director@cheetah.org
