£44,518 per annum

37.5 hours per week, 5 days from 7

 

This is an exciting career opportunity for an outstanding Centre Manager - an inspiring leader with a track record in managing operations, able to deliver a positive future for the Centre, its visitors and supporters and its team of dedicated staff and volunteers.

 

WWT Arundel Wetland Centre is an inspiring environmental visitor attraction in Sussex, a place where visitors can connect to wildlife up close among beautiful natural habitats of lakes, ponds and reedbeds; go on a boat ride to get close to nature, enjoy natural play  or just relax with stunning views in a wild blue space with a coffee and cake. Open 7 days a week the centre attracts more than 90,000 visitors a year to and be inspired to support wetland conservation.

 

We are looking for an outstanding manager to lead the centre to achieve ambitious visitor engagement, conservation and financial strategies. You will be required to develop a multi-talented team of highly motivated staff and volunteers, attracting a growing number of visitors and supporters and enabling unforgettable and inspiring experiences.

 

You must be an experienced and professional manager, ideally with a good mix of business, environmental and charity knowledge, who can deliver against ambitious and challenging targets. Your wealth of experience and proven track record will ideally have been gained from working in a visitor environment and you are now looking for your next role to be part of something amazing.
