Head of Life

AUCKLAND ZOO
He angitūtanga: The
opportunity
In addition to being
a global city with stunning scenery, wonderful beaches and sub-tropical
islands, Auckland is a city with one of the most progressive zoos in the world.
Here, wildlife conservation sits at the very heart of what we do.
At Auckland Zoo we
bring people together to build a future for wildlife. We do this by
demonstrating care for wildlife, inspiring our visitors to value wildlife,
helping to conserve wildlife in the wild and building a high performance
organisation.
We have recently
embarked on an ambitious $150 million capital expenditure upgrade programme,
which will see the transformation of much of the site and the development of
new infrastructure across the zoo.
Right now we are
looking for someone to join Auckland Zoo’s leadership team, who is as
passionate about the diverse roles of a good zoo in the conservation of
wildlife as we are. Someone who can help us further develop as one of the most
forward-thinking zoos in the world.
