Durrell Wildlife
Conservation Trust is an international charity working to save species from
extinction. Headquartered in Jersey in the Channel Islands, Durrell focuses on
the most threatened species in the most threatened places.
We are
currently seeking a highly motivated individual to assist in the management of
the animal collection at Jersey Zoo, maintaining high standards of husbandry
and under the direction of the Department Head or Deputy Head.
The
successful candidate will promote Durrell's work to visitors and guests and
contribute to the captive breeding and conservation of endangered species.

This vacancy has been posted out to the many thousands who read the popular Zoo Jobs Blog Page and then on to the 129,300 plus followers of the ZooNews Digest Facebook Page. It is then immediately forwarded on to Twitter and then to Pinterest and Linkedin (7,900+ connections). Many vacancies are shared to individuals and groups. In short your vacancy will have the potential of reaching something in the region of some 80,000 plus people within 24 hours.
