Full time position based on a monthly rota, average 40 hours per week.

Amazona Zoo is a small friendly zoo, home to only South American species.

The Zoo was only opened in 2008 and as such is growing within the local community. The successful candidate will be joining a hardworking, dedicated team, looking after all the animals housed at Amazona.

Experience with varying species will be preferred.

Minimum experience of 3 years working in a zoological collection and has passed the DMZAA or equivalent.

The successful candidate will be used to giving public talks and will be expected to be personable and able to communicate well with visitors.  It is essential that the successful candidate is friendly and can work well within a team.

Due to our location, accommodation can be available to the successful candidate.
