Bristol Aquarium seeks a Displays Supervisor

About the Role

A great opportunity has arisen for a Displays Supervisor at Bristol Aquarium.

You will have responsibility for day to day management of animal husbandry and creating displays and exhibits ensuring high standards of welfare. Work with technically advanced LSS. Mange the Zoological team and volunteers and provide a fantastic visit for our guests delivering engaging presentations to our visitors.. Reporting to the Curator you will be an integral part of the aquarium management team.

This is full time post working on a rotation basis which includes regular weekends and bank holidays.

About You

Already an experienced Senior Aquarist or Displays Supervisor with knowledge of both marine and freshwater systems. Have infectious enthusiasm for creating stunning and innovative displays and keen to share knowledge with your team and guests. Prior experience of managing and motivating a team and looking for that step up to be part of the aquarium management team.

About Bristol Aquarium

Located directly on Bristol’s Iconic Harbourside, our Aquarium hosts our largest display of native species themed around a sunken ship.  Other displays include an amazing underwater walkthrough tunnel showcasing exotic species.  Bristol Aquarium also has a large Botanical House home to an array of plant species and giant freshwater tropical fish as well as Coral Sea display and a number of species of sharks and rays.
