Description: An
exciting opportunity has arisen to join the keeper team at one of Wales’
leading tourist attractions, Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo in the heart of
Pembrokeshire.
You’ll be based on
the hoofstock section, working with a range of species including zebra, giraffe
and black rhino. Training will also be given across a range of sections with
responsibility for all aspects of animal care, including daily cleaning and feeding
regimes, upkeep of animal records and maintenance of hygiene, working to strict
safety protocols and standard operation procedures. With a mission to exceed
guest expectations and work towards the future, you’ll also help to create
magical moments for our guests to treasure by delivering feeding experiences
and daily talks.
A full driving
licence is essential, with experience of dumpers also advantageous. You’ll need
to have a proven work history, with a minimum of 2 years, of working in a Zoo
or Safari Park. Qualifications to degree level in Zoology or a related subject
also desirable.

strong communication and team work skills. Must be flexible in your working
hours and willing to work weekends/Bank Holidays.
