Tilgate Nature
Centre is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our
team for a fixed term contract.
The successful
candidate will be involved in the husbandry of animals across the Nature
Centre’s Zones covering other keepers’ days off. In particular the Americas
Zone which includes animals ranging from lowland tapir, capybara and macaws to
poison dart frogs, tarantula and Baron’s racers. In addition they will be
required to carry out routine enclosure and grounds maintenance tasks. They
will have relevant practical experience in the husbandry of a wide range of
species and have an animal care qualification.

to work 37 hours a week from Tuesday to Saturday. Bank Holiday and early
evening working will also be required.
