Colchester Zoo is seeking a school coordinator to join the Discovery and Learning team at Colchester Zoo. The school coordinator will be responsible for delivering the primary school educational programme, and also assisting with secondary school teaching where needed. Other duties will include updating and developing the primary school programmes and assisting the Discovery and Learning department with educational activities in the discovery centre. The successful candidate must be experienced and confident in speaking to large groups of school children of varying ages. Previous zoo or conservation experience is an advantage but not essential. The closing date for this application is the 3rd July 2009.
