Volunteer and Work Experience Co-ordinator
Full time, permanent includes weekend and Bank Holiday work.

A position has become available at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm on the Animal Team as a Volunteer and Work Experience Co-ordinator.
Successful candidate will facilitate the efficient running of the already busy volunteer and work experience programme. They will also work to develop the in-house training programme to provide the best opportunity for development. They will be responsible for the health and safety inductions and ongoing training and supervision of the volunteers and work experience students.
This role also carries responsibility for the care of the small domestic animals found in our Animal Village.
The successful candidate will have good leadership and communication skills and is organised and motivated. Preferably the candidate will also be experienced in working with young people.
The successful candidate must have a or be prepared for a DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) check to be done. A normal working week will be 5 days per week 8am- 5pm with the ability to work weekends and bank holidays is also essential.
The pay will be competitive within industry, with the final salary will depend on experience of the successful applicant. Applicants must be happy to work within the Christian ethos of the zoo and be suited to the physical nature of the job.
